Huge TimeNet Update Released!

timenetTimeNet 3.9.4 is now available for download. This update brings over 40 new features and fixes! We’ve completely re-written every area of the software. The interface has been updated and polished, tons of new features added, old bugs flushed out, better invoice templates. Nearly everything has been improved upon. [New Features]
– Clients can be set to Active or Inactive
– Clients can be sorted by group
– Redesigned main window with Client Groups sidebar (that can be shown or hidden), a new Balance column, new filtering options, and totals shown for each client
– Built in Spell Checking
– Improvements to Employee tracking
– Redesigned date selection window

– When searching clients in the main window, the ATTN field is included in the search
– When adding clients, the Client Code is automatically generated

– Project can be tracked through multiple stages – you can quickly see which projects are in which stage
– Projects can track payments and retainers
– You can customize the hourly rate of a category task on the fly, and set it to a flat rate
– New customizable shortcuts list to select from when entering new tasks
– New tasks entered can now be automatically added to the shortcuts list
– Import events from iCal/Calendar for billing
– Hourly tasks can be set to Billable, No Charge (appear on invoice but don’t count towards total), or For My Eyes Only (don’t appear on invoice and don’t count towards total)
– Starting the timer no longer locks the task list in the project
– Starting the timer without a task selected now creates a new task and begins timing it
– Time can be automatically rounded when the timer is paused
– When time is rounded, timing will resume from the actual time of the task, not the rounded time
– Idle time is tracked, with the option to deduct the idle time from the timer
– Expenses drawer is now gone, Quick Charges are counted as expenses
– New options under the Project Menu

[Fixes]
– Big improvements in the way projects are archived/unarchived
– Big improvements in the way preferences are saved and loaded
– Fixed an issue with importing clients from Address Book/Contacts
