Details & Screenshots
TimeNet Law has been rebuilt upon a new robust 64 bit codebase. What does this mean? It means that TimeNet Law is much, much faster. It can access a lot more memory, and run much more reliably, especially with extremely large databases. It also means that it will be compatible with all future versions of macOS for the foreseeable future. And finally, it opens the door for lots of new features and exciting plans we have scheduled in the coming year.
On top of the new modernized codebase, TimeNet Law 3 has a completely redesigned interface. Every single window, button, and text field has been polished for a pixel perfect Retina experience. Oh – and it supports Dark Mode. Which looks pretty incredible, if you’re into that sort of thing. Be sure to check out the screenshots below.

TimeNet Law 3 is a huge update, and we’ve worked really hard to ensure that this new version is rock solid and looks great. But nothing is perfect. So, if you run into any issues, or have any comments about the new design, we’d love to hear from you. Just get in touch!

- New sidebar in main window lets you quickly categorize and filter clients
- New Reports engine offers vastly improved performance and new graphs
- Aged A/R Report now hides clients with $0.00 balance due
- Slip Report now includes a search field to filter slips
- The Add Slips window now shows the total of each slip before you add it
- Payment History on invoices now shows which invoice a previous payment was applied to
- Billing Center > Invoices includes new filters for clients and dates, and shows taxes broken down for each invoice number
- Matter windows now have a “Show/Hide Billed Slips” button
- Working with large clients (hundreds or thousands of matters) is now much faster
- Saving changes in a matter reflects in the Main Window much faster
- Right-clicking a client in the main window includes a new option to show the client’s contact information
- Added a Save checkbox when creating invoices to allow for easy saving of the PDF file
- Payment Center now shows accounts with Automatic Payment turned on
- You can now easily turn Automatic Payments on or off for any retainer account from the Payment Center
- New support for system-wide spell checking
