Where is TimeNet Law 1.9?!

It’s right here! Check out some screenshots below of just a couple of the many new options. We are just a touch behind schedule, originally hoped to get the release out early this morning, but now it’s looking more like late tonight/early tomorrow at the latest. However, this update is worth it, trust me.

TimeNet Law 1.9 – news

This update is going to be really great. The key holdup right now is the finalizing of our newest feature, the Automatic Bookkeeper. This feature allows you to set program-wide or client-specific tax and billing rules:

  • full control over what is taxed and what isn’t
  • automatic deduction of balances owed from trust or escrow accounts
  • ability to setup backup fund accounts
  • ability to maintain a minimum balance in a trust or escrow account

We’re hoping to have a final release candidate available sometime mid-week.

    New iPhone?

Not sure if this is real or not, but a buddy sent this to me this morning so I thought I’d share.

Rumors that Apple’s 3G iPhone is on the way are coming faster by the day (within 60 days is the latest guess), and now images of the alleged next generation iPhone are beginning to surface, too. Apparently the new iPhone will also sport a glossy black back, replacing the satin nickel look found on the current model.

The redesigned iPhone back also drops the black plastic end piece that covers the antenna, and it appears that Apple will continue to offer an 8GB model. I think the plastic design works better with how many antennas are gonna be in the new 3G iPhone.

Of course, rumors are just rumors until Steve pulls the new iPhone out of his pocket.

    TimeNet 3.9.14 Issues

There were two early issues with the update, the first being the manual and invoice templates somehow weren’t included in the package initially, and second there’s a bug in Leopard that causes TimeNet to crash when trying to animate the dock icon now. I’ve temporarily disabled the dock animation option and made sure to include all package material, so be sure to download the latest release if you updated early!
